Like most great ideas, Egg & Ember was born in the pub, sparked during a night out with mates.
The trio behind it—Dan, Dave, and Will—had long dreamed of creating something special in the world of BBQ. And where better to find inspiration than over a pint… or two!

But this isn’t just another BBQ website. We have big plans, and we’d love for you to join us on the journey.

Egg & Ember is all about a true passion for outdoor cooking, great food, and bringing people together—kids, amateurs, and pros alike—all to cook under the stars together.

Our base in Leicestershire is where the magic happens: brainstorming ideas, testing products, and hanging out in each other’s gardens while plotting the next big thing for our brand.

Our mission is simple: to bring affordable, high-quality, functional, and user-friendly solutions to your outdoor kitchen. We source a mix of products from around the world to suit every skill level and budget. All stock is stored and shipped from the UK, and whenever possible we work with local suppliers and manufacturers. For example, our Gozney baffles are produced less than four miles from our hub in Market Bosworth, and the hand-finished oak handles are crafted by a local wood-working group of retirees.

Looking ahead, we plan to collaborate with bigger names and brands and even expand our warehouse into a retail space. Our website will soon feature recipes, how-to videos, a YouTube channel, and expert support for all levels of outdoor cooking, along with guidance on the products we proudly stand behind.
